AIMS Games

AIMS GAMES is an annual event and PNINS is one of the eight original schools that was involved in Tauranga 20 years ago (2004).

Our 2026 athletes have now been named and 46 athletes will be competing across the following sporting codes:

  • Badminton

  • 3V3 Basketball

  • Cross Country

  • Hip Hop

  • Hockey

  • Golf

  • Gymnastics

  • Mountain Biking

  • Rip Rugby

  • Table Tennis

  • Tennis

What Sports will you take to AIMS - Sports depend on the current students we have at school and where we see the oppituitly to excel. In general PNINS does well in individual sports and team sports of smaller sizes like Mixed Hockey and Rippa Rugby.   

What if I can't afford the costs of AIMS - PNINS can assist with costs of AIMS if needed. 

Can I send my child to AIMS outside of the school programme - No. AIMS is a school based event and we do not allow students to compete outside of our programme. 

How is the AIMS Team selected - Team selection is made by the Sports Coordinator after consulting with Regional Sport Organizations, Coaches and using the Keys in Camp programme. The team is then presented to Hamish Ruawai for final approval.
